When I was in 6th grade my acne started coming in. The acne between my eyebrows was cystic acne and the ones on my forehead were closed comedones. A year later, along with those, my entire forehead was covered with closed comedones. By the time I reached 8th grade my forehead had many under-the-skin cystic pimples and around my nose, I had painful under-the-skin pimples along with closed comedones, blackheads, and cystic acne. I used to pop them due to frustration and was left with many dark spots. In 9th grade, I decided that I had enough and took accutane to stop oil production. I have been on it for around 4 months now and I am close to finishing my treatment. Although the acne has started disappearing I am still left with the dark spots. On the bottom of the page are some pictures of my acne through the years.

Due to this journey, I wanted to help others with their acne struggles and confidence. When I had lots of acne I was embarrassed to go out so I would love to help people bring their confidence up and find possible solutions to their concerns
